Asfertglobal presents Kiplant BT-KURE: the new bioinsecticide for effective control of lepidopteran insects
Asfertglobal continues to expand its portfolio of biotechnological solutions with the launch of Kiplant BT-KURE, an innovative bioinsecticide specially developed for the effective control of pests such as caterpillars, grape moths and fruit bugs. With authorization for application on more than 50 crops - including vines, fruit trees, vegetables and olive groves - it represents a safe and technically robust solution for sustainable protection.
Recommended for Integrated Production Programs and Organic Production, Kiplant BT-KURE stands out for its high selectivity and compatibility with auxiliary insects and pheromones, allowing for integrated and balanced crop protection.
Its differentiation is based on state-of-the-art fermentation and formulation technology, which incorporates the exclusive strain of Bacillus thuringiensis - PB54, stable and highly effective - and ensures a high and balanced concentration of CRY and VIP protoxins, translating into broad-spectrum insecticidal capacity and consistent performance, even in adverse conditions.
In addition, the incorporation of ultraviolet protectants in the formulation protects the active components from degradation caused by solar radiation, prolonging the persistence and effectiveness of the product after application.
The mode of action, by ingestion, leads to the activation of toxins that paralyze the digestive system of the caterpillars, preventing them from feeding and promoting the elimination of the pest. The formulation's high palatability favors fast, effective and selective action, without impacting beneficial organisms.
The launch of Kiplant BT-KURE reinforces Asfertglobal's strategy of providing innovative and sustainable solutions in line with the challenges of the agricultural sector and increasing regulatory requirements. “Our commitment is to provide farmers with effective tools that guarantee productivity, food safety and respect for the environment,” says the company.
